Bob is a 10 years old domestic short hair FIV+ tom cat  which needs a forever loving home!

Ms.Siru knew Bob for five years now. Back then he was a pet of one of her neighbors in Hollywood, Florida. She often could see Bob playing peek-a-boo and hide-and-seek in the yard. Bob was very attached to his owner. He used to follow his owner everywhere he went whether it was Hollywood Boulevard, or Hollywood downtown. Their bond was really strong.  But one day Bob’s owner died, and Bob had no more home to live in.

Ms.Siru felt pity for the cat and used to feed him. She wanted to take him home but her dogs wouldn’t get along with a cat. But Bob wasn’t that lonely - he made friends with another homeless cat which became his buddy, and they used to hang around together. One day Ms.Siru  was walking with her dogs, and one of her dogs tried to attack Bob’s buddy. But Bob fiercely smashed the dog’s butt with his paw.  Ms.Siru recognized Bob’s loyalty to his buddy, just like in old times when he had the owner. And who would now dare to say “Cats aren’t loyal…” However, it broke Ms.Siri’s heart to see such a sweet pet living on the streets. She also noticed Bob’s ears were bad and he needed to be neutered. Ms.Siri couldn’t hesitate any longer. She took Bob home.

Hollywood veterinarianBeing a long time client of our veterinary hospital, the next day Ms.Siru brought Bob to Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac for examination.  Tests and veterinarian examination showed Bob had bradycardia, moderate enlargement of bladder, green moist discharge AU, broken teeth, and to make things worse he tested FIV positive which means Bob is suffering from leukemia.

Don’t hate Bob because he is FIV positive.  Ms.Siru would love to give Bob home and all the love he deserves, but unfortunately her dogs can’t stand any cat. Even with FIV Bob can live long, healthy, and relatively normal life.  Sending Bob back to the streets is equal to death sentence for Bob.  Due to his condition Bob needs somebody who can keep him as healthy as possible and provide high-quality diet. FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be spread to humans or other non-felines. Bob can live in a house with other FIV positive cats.

Bob is a sweet and very loving cat. Please give Bob a chance to live like other cats with a loving family. It is not hard, is it?
